Fishing is one of the many experiences available during your stay at Appelkullen. Only a short distance from the house you will find Lake Drögen — a peaceful and untouched Swedish lake surrounded by forests and nature. 

The lake is known for its varied waters, with deep areas, shallow bays, rocky slopes and many small islands.

Drögen offers excellent fishing opportunities for both experienced anglers and guests who simply want to enjoy quiet days on the water. Pike and perch are the most common species, and every season several large pike are caught in the lake.

For passionate anglers, the lake provides exciting structure fishing with deep edges, baitfish schools and varied underwater terrain. 

For others, it is simply a beautiful place to relax, explore nature and enjoy the calm Swedish countryside.
